The Day Is Fast Approaching -

Let me start back when we received our referral from China...September 29, 2011:

It had been a year since we started the adoption process to China. We were on vacation in Greenville, SC when we received a call from our adoption coordinator saying that she just sent us a file and photos of a referral.   Our hearts were pounding as we were extremely excited.  Within a couple hours we accepted the referral and we were typing, scanning and emailing all necessary paperwork.

After five months of waiting, we were told it was possible we would be travelling by the end of April to middle of May time frame.  The timing was just perfect for everyones schedule, Madison and my parents (Heather) will be making the trip with us.  Our paperwork started moving through so quickly and we received a call February 28 saying we will be travelling by the end of March....WOW!  That didn't give much time to get everything ready before we leave!  After a couple bumps in the road,  our confirmed travel date has been set for next Thursday, April 5th.   We are counting down the days, and cannot wait to go meet our new daughter from Huainan...Paityn Mei-Lee who will turn 8 years old on May 7th.  Home just in time to celebrate her birthday! :)

We will do our best to update everyone while we are in China so keep checking back on our blog!
